Four more people have been included in the High Power Committee set up by the Andhra Pradesh government to investigate the reasons for the gas leakage incident at the LG Polymer plant in Visakhapatnam between lockdown and corona infection. As per a June 9 order of the Andhra Pradesh government, the committee constituted on May 8 has been given time till June 22 to submit its report.

According to the news agency ANI, among the four technical experts from various ministries of the Government of India named in the committee were SK Nayak, director-general of the Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Bharat Kumar Sharma, regional director of CPCB, RK Elangovan, director-general of DGFASLI and And Anjan Ray, director of IIP Dehradun.
