Lok Sabha Elections ia around the corner and India is ready to select the PM candidate for the next five years. A few days ago Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to urge sports & entertainment celebrities, politicians, media personnel, etc to inspire a huge voter turn-out in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.  Indian opener Rohit Sharma replied to the tweet highlighting how voting remains the 'most important tool' for the betterment of the citizens and the country.

Rohit Sharma took to Twitter and wrote, “Voting is the most important tool for a better future for our beloved country. It’s our responsibility to ensure we take that seriously and cast our vote @narendramodi.”

The Hitman Tweet came after, among the cricketers that PM Modi tweeted to included stalwarts like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma. PM Modi had earlier tweeted: “Dear @msdhoni, @imVkohli and @ImRo45, 
You are always setting outstanding records on the cricketing field but this time, do inspire the 130 crore people of India to set a new record of high voter turnout in the upcoming elections. 
When this happens, democracy will be the winner!”

Lok Sabha Polls are coinciding with the Indian Premier League season 12 this time around, and before the cricketer gets busy with their respective franchises, PM Modi deemed this as the right time to ask them to spread awareness and ask the 130 crore Indian population to cast their votes.
