New Delhi:  Whenever there is an India-Pakistan cricket match, not only these two countries, but cricket fans all over the world are eyeing this high-voltage match. In the Asia Cup 2022, India and Pakistan are going to meet again on August 28 and before that, former players of both teams are sharing some interesting stories of the earlier matches between India and Pakistan, and in this episode, former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram has also told an interesting story. He referred to a 36-year-old match in which his team's players even started crying.

In fact, in 1986, the final match of the Australian-Asia Cup between India and Pakistan was going on in the middle and Pakistan won a memorable victory by one wicket. This is the same match, in which Javed Miandad hit a six off Chetan Sharma to give Pakistan a victory that cricket fans still remember. Wasim Akram said, 'I remember I was run out. Tauseef Ahmed takes a single and then Miandad also takes a single. There was a young player at that time. Zakir Khan and Mohsin Kamal were also young players. But both were constantly crying. I told him why are you crying, brother?'

"Both of them told me that we have to win this match. I told both of them then that if you can win the match by crying, Then I also start crying with both of you. Just think that the ball came well on Javed Bhai's bat. It was only after this that Javed hit a six to give Pakistan victory.
