Nargis once in an interview explained the reason why she got very few roles in the bollywood. In an old interview the actress said,  “’I always knew what I was hungry for. I am not hungry for fame. Therefore, nothing can be agreed to do. Can not be nude. Or can’t sleep with the director. I have lost many jobs because I have not done ‘some things’. And it was heartbreaking. I had a standard. I had a boundary. But it felt bad when I was thrown out for taking these things more than once. But then I came to know that good people win. Of course, do not win by holding their way, but ‘own’ win by holding a path”.

Nargis further said speaking about her mom said, “Mom scared me with men, sex and relationship,” she revealed. “But a lot of it is because I was shy and I learnt from observing,” Fakhri said further.

In a recent interview Nargis also speaking about Bollywood said, “I didn’t know how maneuver in a new culture. I was told that because I was so authentic and honest in my feelings it wasn’t a good thing. You have to interact with people even if you’re not comfortable with them. You have to put on a game face, which I couldn’t. I was said to be immature. Today, I have come to understand that in actuality there are three faces – a business face, a creative face and then your own personal face,” 

Nargis Fakhri is an American model and actress. The actress also appeared in couple of Bollywood movies. She began her career as a model and made her acting debut in the 2011 with Rockstar.  The actress also featured in Madras Cafe (2013), Main Tera Hero (2014), Spy (2015), and Housefull 3 (2016).
