Due to rain in Delhi-NCR today, many places were jammed in Delhi-Gurugram. Due to waterlogging, many roads have to be closed. The Meteorological Department has declared an orange alert in the capital in view of the strong rainy season.

According to the Delhi Traffic Police advisory, due to the filling of water near the WHO building on the Ring Road, the route from Bhairon Road to the IP flyover has been closed. The road going from the Chirag capital to Nehru Place near Savitri cinema, traffic-jammed due to bus malfunction. The traffic police has given an opinion to avoid going on this route.

The Gurgaon Traffic Police has also declared an alert. According to information received from the Gurgaon Traffic Police, waterlogging has occurred on the road near Narsingpur. Police has requested people not to use this road. Apart from this, the Mito Bridge has been closed by the Delhi Police due to heavy waterlogging. During the torrential rains on Sunday, the DTC bus and several autos were stuck in the same place during the torrential rain. About 20 mm of rain was recorded here at Safdarjung and Lodhi Road meteorological centers. There has been tremendous rain on Wednesday in Gurugram as well which has given relief to the general public.
