Mumbai: Water cuts have been reported in several parts of Mumbai today. Water can also come dirty in many places here. As a result, BMC has advised the people of Mumbai to use it carefully keeping in view the water cuts. At the same time, BMC has said that water is likely to get dirty so boil and use it. In fact, water purification and supply system is being introduced in a phased manner at Bhandup Water Purification Centre.

As a result, water pressure is expected to subside in some parts of Mumbai today. The repair work of the water purification centre at Bhandup was started for about 12 hours. In fact, it was flooded due to heavy rains on Sunday. As a result, there were hurdles in the work of water filtration. Due to this, the air electric supply was stopped and due to this, the municipality (BMC) employees were pumping and using it somehow.

At the same time, it was being repaired. Now, it is being started slowly. The BMC has appealed that due to non-completion of repair work, there will be no full pressure in water at many places. And in the meantime, boil and drink the rainwater before drinking it as it goes in. Today many parts of Mumbai will see an impact on water supply. The list will include suburban areas of Mumbai, Khardanda, Mograpada in K-East, Parle East area, Yari Road in K-West ward, Madh of P-North ward, Gandhinagar, Bimbisara complex of P South ward, Thakur Circle of R-South ward, Lokhandwala Circle, Dahisar area of R North Department.
