New Delhi: Addressing a conference on Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said India (India) will become the fastest growing economy in the world in 2021-22. Speaking at the 94th FICCI Annual Conference in Delhi, Shah said, "I believe that India will probably become the fastest growing economy in the world in 2021-22. Even if we reach double-digit, I will not be surprised. He said, "Inflation was skyrocketing in 2014, we were lagging behind in ease of doing. The banking system was completely crumbling.''
With this, the entire system of the country was disrupted due to scams and corruption worth Rs 12 lakh crore. The people of the country did not believe in the Government. Shah said, "The GDP for July-September was 8.4 per cent. I am confident that India will emerge as the fastest-growing economy in the world in 2021-22 and it is not surprising if we cross the double-digit growth. The Home Minister said, "The biggest success of the Narendra Modi government is that 130 crore people have increased their faith in the country's democracy, in the parliamentary democracy system. They have widened the scope of the economy of the country. Amit Shah said, "When the Modi government took over, people's confidence in democracy was beginning to diminish. The country wondered if our multi-party democratic arrangements were failing. The biggest success of our government is that Prime Minister Modi strengthened the confidence of the people in our multi-party democratic system. ’
Shah said, "Even critics of the government will agree that we have brought about a major change in the last 7 years. There is no allegation of corruption on the Government. After consultation with all the stakeholders, reforms have been brought in in all sectors and this has brought new confidence across the country. The Home Minister said, "The Narendra Modi government of BJP has done the job of providing 5 kg of foodgrains per person/per month free of cost to 80 crore persons for 2.5 5 years. This is a great task, it has not been done anywhere in the world. On FICCI, he said, "Ficci's contribution to the development of the country since 1927 is now an opportunity to increase it manifold and come forward to promote the development of the country in a meaningful manner and touch new areas.''
