Jaipur: Several parts of Nagaur, Shekhawati and Jaipur received pre-monsoon rains on Sunday. After which, on Monday morning, people received light relief from the heat. Last night, Jaipur recorded 9.2 mm of rainfall and Mount Abu recorded 18.2 mm of rainfall.  According to the Met department, light to moderate rain may occur in the state with dust storms in the state, including Jaipur, for the next few days.

According to the information, the winds are expected to move at a speed of 40 km per hour in these areas. Met Department has visited Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawad, Jhunjhunun, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Sirohi, Tonk, Udaipur and Barmer, Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jalore, Jalore, In Jodhpur, Nagaur, Pali and Sriganganagar, dust storms have been issued warning of thunderstorms till next Thursday.

At the same time, the weather is set to change from Sunday in Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana. In Punjab, rain is likely to occur in several districts over the next two days with dust storm. The Met department has issued an alert for high speed thunderstorms. In Haryana, pre-monsoon activities are likely to continue for six consecutive days from Sunday. According to the Met department, the cyclone Vayu has changed the direction.
