Ranchi: A warning has been issued in several parts of Jharkhand on Tuesday about heavy rain and lightning. According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of lightning in many parts during thunderstorms. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for 6 districts of the state including Ranchi due to the possibility of heavy rain and lightning.

According to the scientists of the department, along with the rain in Bokaro, Dhanbad, Koderma, Giridih and Godda, there may be lightning in many areas. In view of this, the department has issued a warning to people to be careful. Along with this, the department has also said that in the next 2 to 3 hours, all these districts and surrounding areas may get rains with heavy thunder.

According to Meteorological Department scientists, with the arrival of monsoon, many districts of Jharkhand are receiving heavy rains. Till the last week of last month, several districts of the state have received better than normal rainfall. However, at the same time, lightning incidents also occurred in many places. In view of this, the government has issued guidelines to the administrative authorities to protect people from celestial lightning.
