Ranchi: Jharkhand is likely to receive heavy rain in the next four days. In fact, the Meteorological Department has predicted low pressure areas in the North West Bay and adjoining areas from August 12. At the same time, the impact of Cyclone Circulation is visible in the Bay of North Bengal and adjoining areas.

According to the weather forecast, thunderstorms are also expected in some parts, while heavy rain is expected at one or two places in the north and south districts of the province from 12th to 13th August. On the other hand, meteorologists believe that on August 12, a low pressure area is forming in the Bay of Bengal. Jharkhand is likely to receive good rainfall for 4 days due to the impact of low pressure area.

Jharkhand has recorded 36 per cent less rainfall than the average so far and the four days of rain is likely to bring some respite to the farmers. Though some districts of Jharkhand have received good rainfall, Sahibganj has recorded more than normal rainfall. In Palamu, normal rainfall has been recorded here.
