Lucknow: Half of November has gone, but still people are not feeling the cold. Not only fans, but AC is also running in most houses, while the Meteorological Department had issued a forecast of low temperatures. The reason for this is a western disturbance. According to meteorologists, the impact of the western disturbance will start decreasing by Thursday evening. Also, the cold will start increasing from Friday morning.

On Wednesday, the day's maximum temperature was recorded at 30.1 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was recorded at 19.1 degrees Celsius, 4.7 degrees above normal. According to Atul Kumar Singh, senior scientist at the Meteorological Centre at Amausi, light rain occurred in the western parts of the state on Wednesday as the western disturbance remained active. There was a slight change in and around Lucknow.

Due to this the wind direction has reversed from north to west or north to east. In this situation, the day temperature remains marginally lower than normal due to light sunshine, but due to an increase in humidity, it becomes slightly humid. The night temperature also rises instead of going down. This situation is going to change from Friday. Night temperatures will start to drop.
