Dehradun: Right now the rainy season is going on. Meanwhile, in many cities of Uttarakhand, there may be maximum rainfall today. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of lightning in some areas. In view of this, the Vader Department has issued an Orange Alert. According to the bulletin issued by the Weather Center, some areas in Dehradun, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Nainital, Pauri, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag and Chamoli cities may receive the maximum rainfall with strong showers on Saturday.

Some areas of Pithoragarh, Haridwar, Tehri, Nainital, Pauri, Chamoli, Dehradun are likely to receive maximum rainfall on Sunday. Weather Center Director Bikram Singh said that moderate to light rain may occur in many areas on Monday. The collector of Dharchula inspected the blocked Tawaghat-Lipulekh-Kailash Mansarovar and Tawaghat-Sobla roads. On this occasion, he instructed the Border Roads Organization to open the way soon. People are facing a lot of problems due to the road being blocked for 14 days.

Explaining further, he said that the road is blocked in Baratighat, Gasku, and Garbadhar in Vyas road which is being tried to open fast. In view of the suspicion of some kind of disaster, the traditional footpath up to Sirkha, Gala Gaad will also be rectified, for which orders have been given to Loniv. The road from Narayanpur to Chirkila is blocked in Darma road. Griff is instructed to open the route. The whole system is being done gradually.
