New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rains in the western states of Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry on Tuesday and Wednesday. Yes and at the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rains in some parts of Madhya Pradesh today. Let us tell you that moderate rains may occur in the northern part of the country including the capital Delhi today and tomorrow. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are likely to occur in some areas of Tamil Nadu and adjoining Puducherry and some districts adjoining the Western Ghats during the next 24 hours.

The depression was centred over Northwest Madhya Pradesh at 23:30 hrs IST on August 22, about 80 km west-southwest of Guna (Madhya Pradesh), it continues to move westwards and it will weaken into a well-marked low-pressure area during the next 12 hours. At the same time, due to the pressure on northwest Madhya Pradesh, it moved almost westwards towards northwest Madhya Pradesh on August 22 and weakened into a well-marked low-pressure area by tomorrow morning.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, light to moderate rains with a few heavy spells may occur at a few places over East and South Rajasthan, Gujarat, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Madhya Maharashtra. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted light rains in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, coastal Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka, including the national capital Delhi. In fact, the Meteorological Department says that as soon as the deep depression forming in the Bay of Bengal comes near the Tamil Nadu coast, there is a possibility of heavy rains in some places in the western states. With this, the department has predicted heavy rains in Coimbatore, Theni, Tirupur and some more districts of Tamil Nadu today and Wednesday.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of very heavy rains at one or two places in Madhya Pradesh and moderate to heavy rains in the western part of Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, light to moderate rains are likely to occur in parts of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha and Bihar, including the states of Northeast India. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also predicted light to moderate rains in the northern states of Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
