Due to heavy snowfall in Himachal, the weather is going to deteriorate again from Sunday after experiencing four days of woes and there is an orange alert of heavy rain and snowfall on Monday. Meteorological Center Shimla has issued warnings for January 13 and 16. The weather will remain bad till 17 January. Apart from this, some areas, including the capital Shimla, were cloudy on Saturday, although snowfall started again in the high peaks of Kullu-Manali including Rohtang Pass. On one hand, there was relief from the commencement of bus service in the capital Shimla from noon on the fourth day. 632 roads including three NHs are still closed across the state. Contact with many areas paralyzed by snow remained cut off from other areas on Saturday. The Youth Congress came down on Gandhigiri on Saturday to highlight the apathy of the government and district administration Shimla.

The activists removed the snow on the Shimla Mall Road by taking a pickaxe. On the other hand, there was a slight increase in the minimum temperature of the state on Friday night. Many areas of the state have come out of the minus. The situation has been normal in the capital Shimla since the fourth day, but due to the bad weather again since Sunday, people have started to fear again. Even after weeks in the Kullu valley, hundreds of villages in the valley are in darkness. In addition to 150 power transformers, more than 70 roads, including two highways, have closed buses. More than 50 water schemes are jammed. In Chamba, vehicular movement started on all routes except the tribal area Pangi and Khajjiar-Lakkamandi road.
