Agartala: In Agartala, Tripura, a momentous occasion unfolded as Chief Minister Manik Saha officially unveiled the much-anticipated 'Weekend Tourist Hub.' Positioned gracefully in front of the historical Ujjayanta Palace, this hub marks a significant step towards enhancing the allure of the state's tourism.

Sharing the excitement on Twitter, Saha posted captivating photographs of the event, expressing the government's relentless efforts to captivate travelers from all corners. "Our government relentlessly takes initiatives to elevate the appeal of the State's tourism sector. In this vein, I am elated to inaugurate the 'Weekend Tourist Hub' right in front of the splendid Ujjayanta Palace, one of Agartala's most treasured tourist destinations," read the enthusiastic tweet.

"I firmly believe that this initiative will unfold as a compelling magnet for tourists, ushering in new avenues of income," Saha added, brimming with optimism.

While some states have already embraced the concept of weekend tourist hubs, this innovative endeavor is a novelty for Tripura. With fervent hopes for its success, Saha stated, "I am optimistic that this first-ever weekend tourist hub will thrive in the days to come," right after inaugurating this trailblazing addition to the state's tourism facilities.

Safety and security remain paramount in this endeavor, and the Chief Minister reiterated the importance of vigilance. He instructed the police to maintain a tight watch to avert any potential issues, ensuring a secure and enjoyable environment for the visitors.

Present to grace the occasion were Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Dipak Majumder, whose presence added further luster to the event.
