Accident!: Heavy collision between truck and oil tanker in Asansol, three people burnt alive

In West Bengal, three people lost their lives and several others were injured in a road accident in Asansol today. All those injured in the incident have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. It is learnt that a strong collision took place between the drug truck and the LPG tanker at Kalla Bend in Asansol this morning.

Two persons lost their lives on the spot due to live burning. However, the person who was seriously injured in the incident was taken to a hospital for treatment. Where doctors declared him dead. The deceased included a truck driver and a cyclist. While another passerby is in a state of injury. The names of the deceased are yet to be identified. The incident has created a hue and cry across the area.

According to information received so far, the India Oil vehicle was on its way from Asansol to Raniganj. Meanwhile, a drug truck was coming from Kolkata towards Asansol. Meanwhile, 2 fish sellers were standing near Kalla Bend. The truck driver suddenly braked while trying to save them. Due to which the vehicle went out of control and went into the opposite lane and collided with the tanker.

Meanwhile, vehicles caught fire with a loud explosion. A crowd of people gathered there after hearing the sound. Police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the accident and a fire brigade was called. The fire was brought under control after a hard fight. The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the district hospital for postmortem. Talking to reporters, Deputy Commissioner of Police Anand Rai said that three people were killed in the accident. Police are investigating the incident.
