Kolkata: Four people have been detained by the police in connection with thebrutal killing of a school teacher, his wife and minor son in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. Information in this regard has been given on Saturday quoting district police sources.
It is being told that three people were already in custody. Based on his interrogation, police got clue about another person after which he has been detained on Friday night. All these people are being questioned. Apart from this, the police team is also raiding in Birbhum district along with Murshidabad. Here the family of the deceased lives and lives in the ancestral village. The police have interacted with the family for hours. However, even after five days of the murder, the police have not arrested anyone in this case, due to which questions are being raised on the district administration.

The BJP, the Congress and the CPI (M) have put Mamata Banerjee's government in the limelight in connection with this massacre. However, District Superintendent of Police IPS Mukesh Kumar has refused to consider the incident a political murder. He has claimed that in the initial investigation it seems to be a case of property dispute. The police claimed that there was no better relationship between the husband and wife.
