Recently, the IIFA Awards were held, which were attended by more than one star. In this award night, there was a fair of stars. After all the awards were distributed, Abhishek Bachchan entered the stage in the best way and gave a tremendous performance on his songs. This was his first stage performance in front of his daughter Aaradhya. However, the real occasion of the evening was tied with Shahid Kapoor's final performance in which he paid a soulful tribute to the late musician by performing dance on the songs of Bappi Lahiri. In IIFA 2022, director Vishnuvardhan's film 'Shershaah' won the highest number of 5 awards. This was followed by the films 'Mimi', 'Ludo' and '83', which won two awards each.
There were many emotional moments due to the program. And, the most emotional part of the ceremony was when actor Salman Khan started remembering the directors and makers who guided his career. From Suniel Shetty's help for not having money in his pocket to getting the first opportunity due to the strange decision of producer JK Bihari in the film 'Biwi Ho To Aisi', to producer Ramesh Taurani's announcement of the film 'Phool Aur Patthar'. Salman even got teary-eyed once as he narrated emotional anecdotes of getting help from producer Boney Kapoor to help and revive his career with the film 'Wanted'.
Although the main host of the program remained Salman Khan, but due to the presentations on stage and distribution of prizes, this responsibility was taken by Riteish Deshmukh and Manish Paul. The show remained very entertaining till the end with Maniesh Paul's jokes and on-the-spot remarks. Due to this, Manish also tried to entertain the audience with the western wear (long gowns dragged on the ground) of the actresses who attended the event. The performances of Tiger Shroff, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday and Nora Fatehi in the program were well received by the audience.
