New Delhi: Ahead of the mega auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL), teams are engaged in formulating their own strategies. The list of 590 players to be included in the mega auction to be held on February 12 and 13 has also been released. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bowling coach Bharat Arun has spoken about Kolkata's strategy. Kolkata recently named Bharat Arun, who was the bowling coach of the Indian team, as its bowling coach.

Kolkata's newly-appointed bowling coach Bharat Arun said that they need players who can adapt themselves according to every situation. Bharat Arun said that 'Even before the pandemic when you used to choose bowlers in the team, you also kept in mind 7 outside matches.' This season of IPL can be limited to only a few cities, the teams will also keep in mind the condition of those cities and grounds.

"The experience of watching a lot of players from the world from the recent past will be extremely important for me and for Kolkata. You get a little idea of what your players can do. It helps to be fully prepared, to make better decisions and to formulate the best strategy for the game.'' Talking about the bowling, Bharat Arun is credited with his excellent performance in Test and ODI cricket.
