The messaging app has now globally rolled out a new feature called "WhatsApp Channels," which is similar to Instagram's Broadcast Channels. This feature allows users to view their preferred news and latest updates.

WhatsApp Channels will be distinct from regular chats. Users will see regular chats separately from the updates coming from channels. Channel admins will have access to various online tools, enabling them to create photos, videos, stickers, polls, and more. Additionally, admins and followers will have privacy tools at their disposal.

WhatsApp has launched this feature called Channels, which will appear to users in a dedicated tab called "Updates." Users can also expect some new features, including search and reactions. Users will see both status and channel updates in one place. What's noteworthy is that statuses will appear at the top of the phone screen.

WhatsApp has rolled out this feature to users, and it will soon reach all users. If you haven't received this update yet, you can update the messaging app on the Play Store. In WhatsApp's latest update, users will also receive a new editing tool in Channels, allowing them to edit posts. This update will be available soon.
