S.S. Rajamouli needs no introduction, he is one of the most renowned filmmakers of the South Industry who has given several Blockbuster like RRR, Babubali and various others is celebrating his birthday today. Rajamouli born in Raichur of Karnataka. However, his native place is Kovvur. He studied up to Class IV at Kovvur and continued his education till Intermediate at Eluru.  His father and brother are in the film industry.  Rajamouli was once slammed by Sridevi.

Late actress Sridevi was first offered the role of Sivagami in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali but due to some reasons, the actress rejected the role, which later on went on to south actress Ramya Krishnan but Rajamouli was not able to handle this and criticized Sridevi.  The filmmaker claimed that it was due to her starry demands and financial expectations, that she (Sridevi) rejected the role of Sivagami in Baahubali.

After which, Sridevi in an interview said, "First of all, I can’t believe he (Rajamouli) would talk like that. Secondly, I am not the kind to make any kind of demands. Whatever happened with Baahubali is in the past. Why are we talking about it now? There are so many roles that I’ve turned down in the past. I think it’s highly impolite to talk.”

The director then realized his mistake and said, "As for whose version to believe, I guess it is for people to decide. But one thing is for sure. I shouldn’t have discussed the details on a public platform. That’s a mistake. And I regret it".
