On August 11, 2020, Rahat Indori passed away, after which several social media users trolled him for his Shayari about Atalji. In fact, Rahat Indori once mocked late PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee's knee operation.Â
 He then read his sher amidst applause, mocking Atalji's knee surgery.
