New Delhi: India's campaign has suffered a major setback even before the Start of Super-4 matches in the Asia Cup 2022. Team India's star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the entire tournament due to a knee injury, Akshar Patel has been included in the team in his place. Team India has suffered this setback at a time when they have to play an important match against Pakistan on Sunday. The BCCI has given information about this by issuing a statement on Friday regarding Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja has participated in both the matches played so far in the Asia Cup, so now India will have to change their playing XI in the match against Pakistan.

Any player who will be brought into the team in place of Jadeja can only be an all-rounder. Because Jadeja's exit also reduces a batting option, as well as Jadeja, can bowl two-four overs in the match. In such a situation, this is the biggest question in front of Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid. In his place, Ravichandran Ashwin can be given a chance, who can bowl four overs as well as can also bat. Or only Axar Patel will be brought directly into the playing XI. Because he is also a left-handed batsman and spinner, as well as he can hit big shots. Axar also has experience of playing IPL in UAE, that's why he is familiar with the situation here.

Let us know that against Hong Kong, India rested Hardik Pandya and entered Rishabh Pant in the playing-11. Hardik Pandya is set to return against Pakistan, so will Rishabh Pant be played in place of Ravindra Jadeja? In such a situation, Rohit Sharma will have to bowl 20 overs with 3 fast bowlers, a spinner and an all-rounder.

Probable Playing XI: Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal, Avesh Khan
