In his visit, Gandhi is likely to meet elected MLAs, party candidates who mislaid and and all district- and state-level party office-bearers. He is also planned to meet zonal teams from Saurashtra and Kutch, South Gujarat, North Gujarat, and Central Gujarat, as per the reports of The Times of India . Rahul is also likely to present a party workers sammelan at Gujarat University Convention Hall in Ahmedabad.

Throughout Rahul’s visit, the Congress president is also planned to talk about the report that would be submitted by the state leaders on the party's sixth consecutive crush in the Gujarat Polls.

Congress party will also apparently made a decision on who would be the leader of opposition and the head fluff up in the state. Consideration on changes in the party organization will also hold, TOI informed.

The results of the Gujarat Assembly polls announced earlier this week brought some cheer to the Congress as the party put up a strong fight in the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah.

Assembly polls will also be carried out early next year in Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura.
