Why Mahabharat on Ramcharitmanas? BJP leaders lash out at Chandrashekhar

Patna: Bihar Education Minister Chandrashekhar Azad's controversial statement on 'Ramcharitmanas' has triggered a political squall. The BJP has attacked the Grand Alliance government, calling such statements a "vote bank industry". At the same time, poet Kumar Vishwas asked Nitish Kumar to give education to the 'illiterate education minister without delay'. On the other hand, seeing everyone surrounding them, the RJD has distanced itself from this statement. RJD said that this is a personal statement of Education Minister Chandrashekhar.

In fact, Education Minister Chandrashekhar, while addressing the students at the convocation program of Nalanda Open University in Patna, described Ramcharitmanas as a book spreading hatred and dividing the society. After making the statement, when he was questioned in this regard, he said his words about Ramcharitmanas were correct. After the convocation, when Chandra Shekhar was asked about his statement, he said, "In Manusmriti, abuses were hurled against a large section of the society comprising 85 percent of the population. It is written in the Uttar Kanda of Ramcharitmanas that people of lower caste become poisonous like snakes after receiving education. These are texts that sow hatred. Manusmriti in one era, Ramcharitmanas in the second era, Guru Gowalkar's bunch of thought in the third era, all these divide the country and society into hatred. Hate will never make the country great. Only love will make the country great.'' BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla attacked Education Minister Chandrashekhar's controversial statement on Ramcharitmanas.

He wrote, "The education minister of Bihar said 'Ramcharitmanas' is a hate-spreading book. A few days ago, Jagdanand Singh had described Ram Janmabhoomi as a 'land of hatred'. This is not a coincidence. This is the industry of vote bank 'Hindu Aastha Pe Karo Chot, Taki Mile Vote', and lobbying of SIMI and PFI.'' Will action be taken? BJP MLA Neeraj Kumar Bablu said, What will happen to education in Bihar if the education minister gives such a statement? You can understand what kind of controversial statement an education minister of this state government gives. This statement regarding our years-old religious book is going to hurt the sentiments of the Hindu religion. I think these people are not in a good mental state and make stupid statements to please a particular religion. If you give such a statement, then the people of the Hindu religion will also ask that if Ramcharitmanas is wrong, then which religion do you belong to?
