This village is cursed because of it. People living have been under the curse for 700 years. About the curse of this village, people say that 'hundreds of years ago a man named Bhomiya resided in the village. Once, thieves came to the village with whom Bhomiya started fighting. After which thieves hit the man so much that his condition became critical.

It is said, 'he reached his in-laws' house and hid on the second floor of the house. Back and forth, the thieves also reached the in-laws and started beating the members of the house. After which, thieves came to know that he is at home. After that, they cut his neck, but still, he kept fighting with thieves and came to his village and gave up his life. After that, it is said that his wife cursed that "If anyone builds the second floor of the house, it will be wrong with him". Since then, no new house is built in this village.
