Actress Mona Singh, who has been missing from the television world for five years, is all set to make a comeback. Mona appeared in a television serial 'Kavach Kali Shakti' in 2016. She will now be seen in crime thriller show 'Chance-e-Crime'. Mona Singh, who has been away from television for a long time, has cited the reason behind this as not getting the character she wants. The actress said she had not taken any break but was not offered the kind of characters she wanted to do.

On returning to television after five years, Mona Singh said, "I have never been a part of crime shows before. I have done comedy, dance and talent shows so I felt that something different should be done this time. Crime Genre has always attracted me." At the same time, "I have time to shoot now, because I have completed all my challenges."

She added "The gap from 2016 to 2021 was also because she was busy expanding other platforms. A TV serial takes a lot of time and we can't find anything else, he said.
