Ghaziabad: The BASIC EDUCATION department of UP has started cracking down on schools operating without recognition. Notices have been sent to 22 schools in the district by identifying the schools operating without recognition. The operators of these schools have been ordered to close down immediately and apply for recognition of the schools at the earliest. If any school is found operating without recognition, strict action will be taken against the operators of those schools by lodging an FIR.

On the one hand, the state government is trying to promote the education of children in the entire state under the School Chalo campaign. On the other hand, the school mafia is also active in Ghaziabad. These school mafias are playing with the future of the children by running schools without recognition. Now the education department has initiated action against them. Notices have been issued by the education department to 22 schools running without recognition in the district. They have been warned not to run the school in the future without recognition.

There are many more schools in the district which are operating without recognition. A team has been formed to identify all such schools. The Education Department has issued an advisory alerting students and parents. The education department has appealed that before taking admission in a school, it must be seen whether the school or class in which they have to take admission is recognised or not.
