Patna: In view of the harsh winter in Bihar, the government has built night shelters in different cities including the capital Patna. On Tuesday night, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav inspected the night shelters in the capital Patna and saw the arrangements. Tejashwi Yadav said after inspecting the night shelters that CCTV arrangements have been made keeping in mind the security. He said that mobile charging points and Wi-Fi will also be arranged in the night shelters. Tejashwi Yadav said that we have also instructed the officers to arrange campfire equipment.

He made a surprise inspection of night shelters in Patna and distributed blankets among the people who were seen shivering with a cold due to this. Tejashwi Yadav said that in order to ensure that the harsh winter does not create problems for the poor brothers, our government has made arrangements for night shelters as well as temporary shelters, which are completely free of cost.

The Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar also talked to the people about the arrangements due to the surprise inspection of night shelters and also instructed the concerned officers to remove those shortcomings immediately. He gave blankets from his fund to people shivering in the bitter cold on the roadside footpath, under bridges, and on flyovers. Tejashwi Yadav said that beds and blankets have been arranged in night shelters and shelters. Night shelters have been connected to nearby toilets. He said that where there are no toilets in the vicinity, separate toilets have been arranged. According to Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, all night shelters have provision for clean drinking water. It has also been directed to arrange separate boxes for all people to keep essential goods. Tejashwi Yadav has said that brothers who are worried about the safety of their rickshaws, carts, and other vehicles are not able to avail the facility of night shelters. Separate arrangements are being made for them. He said that the number of shelters is being increased continuously. Tejashwi Yadav said that instructions have been given to simplifying the process for availing the benefits of night shelters so that more and more people can take advantage of them.
