Wild, independent women who are mature make for a total riot: Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives

Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives' second season premiered today on OTT, and it is unquestionably twice as dramatic as the first!

The show is truly "wild" to watch, featuring everything from divorces and menopause to on-screen intimacy and a quick trip to the wildlife!

We were most impressed by how sensitively the creators addressed the subjects of divorce and menopause.

One of the key moments in the show is when Maheep Kapoor attempts to discuss menopause and female reproductive organs with such grit and audacity.

The four women then make a brief visit to the most well-known gynaecologist in the nation to learn more about menopause, which helps dispel many myths about this crucial time in every woman's life.

The second season is replete with evidence that Neelam Kothari Soni, Bhavana Pandey, Seema Sajdeh, and Maheep Kapoor are a complete riot.

Although the four are quite different from one another, they all share a combination of maturity and wildness in their own unique ways.

Seema Khan is unquestionably the "Kapil Sharma" of this season thanks to her hilarious one-liners! She makes you laugh so hard because her humour is so effortless. She is not only a talented designer but also a wonderful mother, and I have no doubt that she is hilarious as well! After requesting a divorce from Sohail Khan, Seema, who had the surname Khan in the first season, has decided to keep her maiden name of Sajdeh. The designer discusses her difficult divorce process and her intense guilt as a mother for subjecting her children to having to deal with separated parents. Everything is skilfully and delicately woven.

Maheep, who drew criticism for being rude and frequently using expletives in the first season, keeps up the same behaviour in the second. But this time, we also get to see a sensitive and emotional Maheep who discusses the difficulties she went through in her first marriage years ago and how she left it with baby Shanaya in tow. Kapoor says she made the best choice of her life when she decided to forgive Sanjay to protect her children. Maheep also talks about losing Rekha, the housekeeper she regarded as her backbone, to COVID. Knowing about the difficult times everyone endured during the pandemic really breaks your heart.

Neelam, the prim and proper Bollywood doll from the 1990s, is also much hotter and more happening now. Neelam, who vehemently opposed the notion of kissing on-screen, is seen approving the practise for a forthcoming project Zoya Akhtar has offered to her. It's funny to watch her stress out over it and repeatedly annoy her real-life husband Samir Soni by acting out the kissing scene with him.

After 24 years of marriage, Bhavana Pandey, and her actor husband Chunky Panday renew their vows, adding much glamour and oomph to the season. It's surprising to see their daughters Ananya and Rysa, both members of the modern "Gen Z," respond to their parents' romantic wishes with "eww" and "yuck" instead of supporting them. It was disappointing to see the girls, who were otherwise so sophisticated, have such an odd viewpoint on something so sentimental and emotional, especially when it involved their parents. The all-girls quick trip to Jawai is next, and it's a lot of fun to watch Neelam and Seema become frightened out of their minds.

The entertainment value of the show is increased by cameos from Karan Johar, Gauri Khan, Bobby Deol, Malaika Arora, Ananya Panday, Nirvaan Khan, Manish Malhotra, and Vikram Phadnis. The four women's swooning over the macho man during Ranveer Singh's guest appearance is another highlight of the show. Singh's appearance in the episode offers a brief preview of his upcoming Karan Johar-directed film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. Oh yes! Sima Taparia, a well-known matchmaker from Indian Matchmaking, visits Seema Sajdeh in an effort to help her find a new and compatible soulmate with whom she can "adjust" for the rest of her life.

Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives S2 is a complete entertainment package with plenty of twists and turns, drama, blind dates, numerous guest appearances, and mostly all first-world problems. Season 2 of The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives is a mashup of everything elegant and "massy," but with a lot of jazz and bling. What about "Hottie at 40"? This show demonstrates it clearly and correctly!
