Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2022, Samajwadi Party (SP) and Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) contested in the alliance. In this election, while Jayant Chaudhary's party RLD won 8 seats, the SP has got 111 seats in its account. In such a situation, the majority has gone to the BJP and its allies to capture power. Let us know that in this election, the BJP alliance has won 273 seats.

In such a situation, RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary, while talking to a TV channel, admitted that we did not get the purpose of our elections, but the BJP has suffered in the area where CM Yogi Adityanath had talked about taking out the heat. There was an attempt to make the issue of Kairana migration from the BJP, but the alliance has won three seats in that district.

Jayant Chaudhary further said that the leader who tried to polarize and tried to convert Hindu Muslims, BJP has lost in those areas. And this is also a success for us. Let us tell you that the victory of the SP alliance in Baghpat, Baraut, Bulandshagar, Agra, Noida and Ghaziabad was not as expected. Regarding this, Jayant Chaudhary said that we need to seriously think about these results. Along with this, Jayant said that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections too, he will fight with the SP.
