New Delhi: The name of the Mughal Garden located in Rashtrapati Bhavan has been changed by the Modi government at the Center. Now this garden will be known as Amrit Udyan. The reaction of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has come to the fore on the government's decision to change the name. Attacking the central government, BSP supremo and former CM Mayawati has said that by changing the name of Mughal Gardens, will the day-to-day problems of the country and crores of people go away? Otherwise, the general public will consider this as an attempt by the government to cover up its shortcomings and failures.

BSP supremo Mayawati has further said that inflation is at its peak in the country. However, no attempt is being made to solve it. In a tweet, the former CM wrote, 'Except for a handful of people, the entire population of the country is suffering from the stressful life of high inflation, poverty, and unemployment, etc., instead of focusing on their solution, conversions, renamings, boycotts and hate speeches, etc. The attempt to divert the attention of the people through this is very unfair and very sad.'

Let us inform you that before this, the government had also changed the name of the roads built in the name of many Mughal rulers in Delhi. Aurangzeb Road was renamed as APJ Abdul Kalam Road. In a statement issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan, it has been told that Amrit Udyan (Mughal Garden) will remain open for the public till 31 January 26 March this year. After this, it will be opened only for farmers on March 28 and for differently-abled people on March 29. On the other hand, on March 30, the garden will be open for the families of police, security forces, and military personnel.
