Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath said that the Congress will give tickets to the people's representatives from the Yadav community in the assembly elections. Along with this, 27 percent of the seats will be reserved for the Other Backward Classes (OBCs) upon their coming to power. Our government had also given reservation to this class, but the BJP government abolished it. He was addressing the people's representative conference of the Yadav Samaj, held on Saturday at Manas Bhawan in the capital. Here, it was resolved to make Nath the CM again.

Remembering the late Mulayam Singh Yadav, Subhash Yadav, and Sharad Yadav, Kamal Nath said that these leaders of society fought for social justice. Congress has made a clear demand that the Central Government conduct a caste census. Former State Congress Committee President Arun Yadav said that the Congress President has always respected the OBC class and the Yadav community.

At the same request, he renamed the Apex Bank building in Bhopal as Subhash Yadav Bhawan. If there was any other leader, he would have organised big programmes in the state to promote a 27 percent reservation for OBCs, but Kamal Nath had given reservations with full decency. Sarpanchs of 42 districts, district and district panchayat members, councillors, and presidents of civic bodies participated in the programme.
