Lucknow: Mafia Atiq Ahmed is the main accused in the Umesh Pal murder case. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Police is bringing Atiq to UP once again from Sabarmati Jail. As soon as he came out of jail, former Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Atiq Ahmed told reporters that their (the government's) intention is not right; they want to kill me. Let us tell you that on February 24, the main witness in the BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case, Umesh Pal, was shot dead by miscreants in broad daylight. Atiq was also the main accused in the 2005 murder of Raju Pal, and after that, it was Atiq who killed the witness Umesh Pal as well. Today the same Atiq Ahmed is fearing his death, on whom more than 100 criminal cases, including murder and extortion, are registered. Atiq, who used to speak broken during the SP rule, is trembling after seeing the UP police.

Significantly, in the Umesh Pal kidnapping case, Atiq was recently brought to Prayagraj by the UP Police. Here, the court sentenced Atiq to life imprisonment. At the same time, his brother Ashraf was acquitted in the case due to a lack of evidence. Both Atiq and Ashraf are accused in the Umesh murder case. Apart from this, the police have also named Atiq's wife, Shaista Parveen, as an accused in the case. Recently, the police had also increased the reward amount for Shaista Parveen to Rs 50,000. Meanwhile, news is coming out that UP police may bring Atiq's brother Ashraf to Prayagraj.

In this massacre, the police have so far killed two miscreants in an encounter. At the same time, for the arrest of other miscreants, the police have intensified the raid by announcing the reward. According to the police, Atiq's brother Ashraf had planned to carry out the incident from Bareilly Jail at the behest of the mafia. For this, Ashraf also held a meeting with the miscreants in Bareilly Jail. This meeting took place on February 11, 2008. The police are also searching for Atiq's son.
