WIPRO, software services firm, has bagged a 3 year IT deal with NSB( Norway's largest transportation groups) .

As a part of the contract WIPRO will implementmplement its datacenter and workspace solutions and utilise its delivery framework to deliver services that will help NSB variablise their IT operations, Wipro said in a statement.

No financial details of the deal were disclosed.

The Wipro-enabled back-bone of IT infrastructure services will enable NSB to achieve greater flexibility, scalability, cost efficiency and offer an enhanced end-user experience, it said.

NSB Group CIO Trude stby Dahl said, that the deal will only help their company become more future-ready and competitive.

He added that this engagement is strategic step in their business continuity operations. Wipro can drive cost reduction ,efficiencies ,and most importantly, bring about joint innovations to serve our customers better.

NSB has extensive passenger transportation operations by way of rail and bus, freight by rail, property management and development and train maintenance segments. it's headquatered in Oslo.
