Mumbai: Former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray addresses a public meeting in Buldhana. While addressing the public meeting, Uddhav Thackeray fiercely attacked the Maharashtra Government, CM Eknath Shinde. Uddhav Thackeray also lashed out at the BJP. He alleged that projects being snatched from Maharashtra are being sent to Gujarat where assembly elections are being held.

Addressing a public meeting at Chikhali in Buldhana district, Uddhav Thackeray said that assembly elections are to be held in Karnataka next year. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai has claimed Akkalkot and Solapur in Maharashtra. He said that I am afraid that both these areas may not be handed over to Karnataka next year. Uddhav also took a jibe at Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Shinde. He taunted that PM Narendra Modi has promised to take back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Uddhav said that Chief Minister Shinde can also conclude from the Prime Minister's promise that there is nothing wrong in handing over more than 40 villages to Karnataka. He said that Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari gave a controversial statement regarding Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj but CM Shinde is silent.

Former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray claimed that in the last few months only about one thousand farmers of Vidarbha committed suicide. He said that if I were the CM, I would not have allowed anyone to commit suicide like this. Uddhav Thackeray has also demanded that the state government should waive the electricity bill of the farmers. He said that when Devendra Fadnavis was in the opposition and our government was in power, the Madhya Pradesh government had claimed to have waived the electricity bill of Rs 6500 crore for the farmers. Uddhav Thackeray said that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government was taunted. He also said that he challenges Devendra Fadnavis to waive the electricity bills of the farmers.
