Panna: A tragic incident has come to light from Panna district of MP. Here a woman set herself on fire by sitting 2 innocents on her lap. In this case, the woman and one-and-a-half-year-old daughter died on the spot, while the 4-year-old son was seriously injured due to burns in the fire.

The same case is being reported from Katwaria village under the Saleha police station area, 40 km from the district headquarters of Panna. The parents of the woman who committed suicide by setting herself on fire allege that the in-laws used to torture their daughter for dowry. Upset with this, she took the step of ending this life.

In the same incident, the Saleha police station in-charge Suyash Pandey informed that the deceased Draupadi (age 28), wife of Rajesh Kori, has committed suicide. In this case, the innocent daughter has died and the 4-year-old son has been seriously burnt by the fire, whose treatment is continuing in the hospital. Police said the woman took the decision due to the tension in the house in the Arbhink investigation. The statements of the girl's father side will be before the SDOP Gunaur.
