Chandigarh: In Ward No-7 of Tarn Taran's Kasba Patti, the girl who did love marriage was killed by her brothers by cutting her from a sickle. Three months ago, the girl married her boyfriend in a local court. The girl's family was unhappy with the marriage. In this anger, the girl's relatives and cousins cut her off with sickle in two and a half minutes. In the middle of the road, the young woman suffered for 5 minutes and after that, she lost her life. The Thana police have registered a case of murder against Rohit and cousin Amar, the brother of the deceased Sneha. At present, the culprits are absconding.

According to reports received, Sneha had an affair with Rajan Joshan. The girl's family was not happy with the love of the two. Even after that, the two of them decided to get married. Three months ago, Sneha hid from her family and got married to Rajan in a local court. On this issue, Sneha's brother and mother started arguing against both.  

On Friday night, Sneha left home to pick up some items from the market. Sneha's brothers, who were already ambushed, surrounded her on the way. First, he slapped Sneha. Then, he cut her off from the sickle. The whole incident took place in two and a half minutes. After executing the incident, both the criminals fled from the spot. For 5 minutes Sneha lay on the beach road, no one helped her. Sneha succumbed to her injuries before being taken to the hospital. On receiving the information, the concerned police station and the concerned DSP rushed to the spot. Police took the body into their custody. According to a senior medical officer of the Civil Hospital, a special board will conduct the post-mortem of the body.
