New Delhi: The sit-in protest by the country's renowned wrestlers against the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) continued for the third consecutive day at Jantar Mantar. Amidst all this, the protesting wrestlers have lodged a complaint with the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) about sexual harassment of the wrestlers. It is believed that now the difficulties of WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan may increase further.

According to the report, the complaint given to the IOA states that Vinesh Phogat has been mentally harassed and was ridiculed and tortured by WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh when she was out of the Tokyo Olympics. In fact, about 30 wrestlers of the country including Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia, and Sakshi Malik opened a front against the Wrestling Federation and its president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on Wednesday (January 18) and started a sit-in protest.

These wrestlers said that women wrestlers are being sexually abused and they are also being mentally tortured. The WFI president publicly misbehaves with wrestlers and abuses them. The wrestlers claim that the wrestling federation is harassing the wrestlers in the name of rules.
