Srinagar: 'India 4 Kashmir' (I4K), an organization of Kashmiri Hindus, has organized '33rd Expulsion Day' to reclaim their lost land in Jammu and Kashmir and to rehabilitate Kashmiri Hindus in the state with dignity and respect. Let us tell you that Kashmiri Hindus celebrate January 19, 1990, as 'Black Day', because on this day they were massacred by Islamic terrorists by announcing from the mosques under conspiracy and millions of Hindus were forced to flee.

In this demonstration, the activists of the organization along with the common people also organized a demonstration and a tribute meeting at Jantar Mantar in memory of Kashmiri Hindus who were martyred in the massacre committed by Islamic fundamentalists in the Valley on the horrific night of January 19, 1990. Wearing black bands, and holding placards and banners, the protesters held a demonstration in honor of the innocent Hindus martyred due to their religion.

On that date, Islamic fundamentalists attacked Hindus with the slogan 'Raliv, Galiv, Chaliv' (Convert, Die, or Run). Not only this, fundamentalists were asking Hindus to leave their women. In the latest protest, activists have demanded that the Indian government officially recognize it as a "genocide of the community" and teach the incident in history books.

I4K has said in its statement that, 'Justice should be provided to Kashmiri Hindus living in forced exile. Refusing to commit genocide means you are becoming a part of it. We demand justice for the martyred and for those who have been forced to live as refugees in their own country for 33 years. In 1990, 7 lakh Kashmiri Pandits were rendered homeless by fundamentalists, after which a favorable solution has not been found for their return to the valley to date.'
