Let us tell you that after 59 Hindus were burnt alive by Muslims by setting fire to a bogie of the Sabarmati Express train, riots broke out in Godhra and other places of Gujarat. At that time there was Narendra Modi's government in Gujarat. Since these riots, Islamist, leftist and foreign agencies spreading propaganda have been continuously trying to blame PM Modi for these riots. However, all these propaganda agencies never talk about burning alive 59 Hindus. Under this propaganda, the British media agency BBC has made a documentary. In this documentary, BBC has tried to put the blame for the Gujarat riots on PM Modi. Not only this, but BBC has also tried to show the image of PM Modi as anti-Islamic. Let us tell you that the Supreme Court of India has given a clean chit to PM Modi in the Gujarat riots case. A case is also going on against Teesta Setalvad, a Congress close aide, for fabricating fake evidence against PM Modi regarding the Gujarat riots. It is alleged that Teesta fabricated evidence against the then CM Narendra Modi by taking money from Congress and trying to topple his government.
Under this propaganda, BBC made a two-part documentary titled 'India: The Modi Question,' in this series the conflict between PM Modi and the Muslims of India has been talked about. The BBC has also raised questions about the Modi government's attitude towards the country's Muslims, its alleged controversial policies, the abrogation of Kashmir's special status, and the amended Citizenship Act (CAA). India's opposition and India's enemy Pakistan have also been leveling all these allegations on PM Modi. In such a situation, it can be clearly understood for what purpose BBC made this documentary.
Regarding this, Pakistan-origin MP Imran Hussain said in the UK Parliament that, 'PM Modi was directly responsible for the Gujarat riots. Given that hundreds of people were brutally killed and families here in the UK, India, and around the world are still without justice. Does the Prime Minister (UK PM) agree with his diplomats at the Foreign Office that PM Modi was clearly responsible and is the Foreign Office aware of their involvement in this serious act of ethnic cleansing?'
On this, PM Rishi Sunak said in Parliament that the long-standing position of the United Kingdom (UK) government is very clear and has not changed. Sage Sunak said that 'Of course, we do not tolerate any kind of harassment, wherever it may be. However, I do not agree at all with the characterization that has been put forward regarding the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.'

After British PM Rishi Sunak, Lord Rami Ranger, a member of Britain's House of Lords also tweeted calling this documentary propaganda. He also called BBC biased. Also criticized BBC for hurting the sentiments of crores of Indian people. Lord Ranger wrote in his tweet, 'BBCNews, You have caused a great deal of hurt to over a billion Indians?? It insults a democratically elected Prime Minister Of India, the Indian Police, and the Indian judiciary. We condemn the riots and loss of life and also condemn your biased reporting.'

At the same time, India's Ministry of External Affairs has also reacted to this propaganda documentary saying, 'We feel that this documentary is a part of propaganda. There is no truth to this. This biased series has not been screened in India.' External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said the documentary is a reflection of the agencies and individuals who are trying to spin this narrative. This effort compels one to think about the agenda behind it.
