Indian women's hockey team coach Yanek Shopman has said that the team is going to focus on increasing its fitness and speed to continue its good run in the fih pro league matches to be held in the coming month and the upcoming World Cup. After achieving success in the home stage matches of the FIH Pro League, India is currently at the top of the points table. The Indian team has started its preparations for the final phase of the Pro League to be played in the coming month and the World Cup to be held in Spain and the Netherlands from July 1.
India is going to take part in the World Cup after facing teams like Belgium, Argentina and usa in the Pro League. "We made good progress last month and we are looking to take the same performance forward. He has said that our focus will be on increasing our fitness and speed level and we are going to try to make our strategy of the game a reality. I want the players to take the lead in improving their own game because they know what area they need to work in.
