DOHA: The World Athletics Championships is going on Qatar's capital Doha. Every day, some old record is being broken and a new one is being created. In this championship, Salwa Eid Naser of Bahrain performed historically. Salwa made history by becoming the first Asian athlete to win the women's 400-meter race, surprising Olympique champion Shauné Miller Uibo. 21-year-old Salwa, born in Nigeria, completed this race in 48.14 seconds. This is the third-fastest time in history.

Olympic champion Miller Uibo captured the silver medal with a time of 48.37 seconds. This is the Bahamas' first defeat in two years by Miller.
