NEW DELHI: Ajay Banga, the newly appointed President of the World Bank, has gained recognition for his exceptional achievements and contributions, earning a coveted spot on the esteemed "Great Immigrants" list curated by the Carnegie Corporation of New York. Renowned for his invaluable efforts in bolstering America and strengthening its democratic values, Banga's impact is undeniable.

Assuming leadership of the World Bank in June 2023, Banga emerges as the trailblazing Indian American, becoming the first individual of Indian descent to spearhead this prestigious institution. In this year's compilation of 'Great Immigrants' by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, Banga stands as the sole representative from India, embodying excellence and inspiring countless individuals worldwide.
