Pakistan beat New Zealand by 6 wickets in the ICC World Cup-2019 match at Edgbaston on Wednesday, beating them by 6 wickets to give them their first defeat of the tournament and the Kiwi team looked behind Pakistan in this match. Chasing an unbeaten 97 by New Zealand, Colin De Grandholm scored 237 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs.

Chasing a target of 238 runs, Pakistan achieved the target by losing 4 wickets in 49.1 overs against Babar Azam's unbeaten 101 and Haris Sohail's 68 runs.

Babur was again joined by veteran Mohammad Hafeez and with Hafeez adding 66 for the third wicket and the team scored 110 runs.
