International Homeopathy Day, which is celebrated annually on April 10th, honors the memory of Dr. Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy who founded homoeopathy. The day also challenges understanding and strategies that will further develop homeopathy

Greek terms homeo, which means similar, and pathos, which denotes suffering or illness, are the origin of the term "homoeopathy." According to this complementary style of therapy, "like cures like." In other words, the substances that cause the illness's symptoms also treat the condition. Red onions, for instance, are known to cause eye irritation. Red onion is therefore a component of homoeopathic allergy treatments.

According to homoeopathy, substances that cause symptoms also start the body's natural healing process. These ingredients can be made of synthetic, mineral, animal, or plant materials. Usually, the substances are rather dilute. Western medicine often disregards the use of homoeopathy. Nonetheless, there are documented instances where people's illnesses were cured by using homoeopathic treatments.

Homeopathy is risk-free. Homeopathic medicines, in contrast to other medications, are non-toxic, nontoxic, and have no negative side effects. Homeopathic remedies can frequently be used safely by patients who are unable to take regular prescription drugs because of negative effects. Homeopathic medications are made from trace amounts of natural ingredients like herbs, minerals, and animal products. Based on European Union law and European Pharmacopoeia regulations, the national medical authorities guarantee the products' quality and safety. Without worrying about dosage, they are safe for youngsters, infants, and pregnant women.
