Mirza Ghalib’s 220th birthday. So many great lines....
After which his mistake was corrected by lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar. Replaying Tharoor's tweet, Javed Akhtar wrote, "Shashiji, who has never given you these lines, should never rely on them again. It is natural that someone has put these lines in your post. But, by doing so, it has damaged your intellectual credibility. In a tweet, Tharoor said, "Thanks to Javedji and other friends for realising what I did.
Just as every quote is dedicated to Winston Churchill, it seems that when people like Shayari, they give credit to the Ghalib. I apologise. In another tweet, Tharoor wrote, "Galib is always our favourite. But, today, it is not his birthday. I was misinformed, yet enjoy these lines.
