LONDON: Word Test Championship Final - Cameron Green's game-changing power is well projected among his Australian teammates, who feel that his presence in the dressing room has got a new meaning after his success in Indian sub-continent in the last four months.

Earlier this year, Green went on his debut Test tour to India and notched his first Test century. In the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Ahmedabad in March of this year, he scored an aggressive 114 off just 143 balls.

Green continued his strong play in the IPL this year, leading Mumbai Indians to the playoffs with a 47-ball century that propelled the five-time champions to 452 runs from 16 innings at a strike rate above 160.

Leading Australia off-spinner Nathan Lyon said, "His (Green's) presence around the team has obviously shifted after being a part of that IPL and after achieving that hundred in Ahmedabad, before of the World Test Championship Final against India.

He is becoming more confident and more himself, a little bit more outgoing around the team. "I think that just comes from being able to hang in there and play in the IPL and be around the likes of (Mumbai and India Test captain) Rohit Sharma and these guys to learn off of them," he said.

Beginning on Wednesday, The Oval will host the World Tennis Championship Final between India and Australia.

Usman Khawaja, the Australia opener, believes Green's 208-run stand for the fifth wicket in Ahmedabad in March of this year dramatically changed the young player. Khawaja saw Green up close during that partnership.

I went through nine or ten (goes) to get my first hundred over the course of about four years, so I understand what it's like, he added. "I know what the feeling was to be able to achieve that." "The floodgates just opened when I got my first one, which is always the case. The first one comes to you naturally, and the others follow because you've already been there and done that. We all knew that as teammates, He said."Green is such a great guy and such a legend. I truly appreciated it because you only want the best for him," Khawaja added.
