Lucknow: Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, expressed his condolences on Saturday for the deaths caused in the car accident that happened on the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura district on Friday night.

The catastrophe claimed the lives of four persons while injuring another four. The injured were shifted to the district hospital in Mathura for medical attention. The collision occurred after two vehicles collided on Milestone 87 of the Yamuna Expressway in the Mathura area of Surir Police Station.

he Chief Minister's Office informed that  CM Yogi gave orders to administration personnel to see to it that the injured people received the required care while also being prayed for to recover.

"Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has expressed his profound sorrow for the deaths caused by a car accident in the Mathura area. The Chief Minister sent his condolences to the grieving families and prayed for the deceased's soul "CMO stated.

 Yogi also instructed the officials to approach the relief efforts like a war.

"The district administration officers are to treat them properly, as ordered by the chief minister. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured persons.  Also, senior police officers and the District Magistrate have been directed to the spot and order relief efforts to be conducted on a war footing "CMO said.

Earlier today, the police mentioned, "4 people died and 4 others were severely injured after 2 cars met with an accident on Milestone 87 of Yamuna Expressway under Surir Police Station in Mathura. Local police reached the site and the injured were lifted to Mathura district hospital."
