Lucknow: 5 people lost their lives in a tragic accident that took place on Thursday morning in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Four women are among the dead. The accident happened on Yamuna Expressway, in which 2 people were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to the local hospital for treatment. According to the police, the people in the vehicle were going from Agra to Noida. The accident happened near the 40 km milestone before the Jewar toll plaza.

The accident happened around 5 am. According to the police, the Bolero car collided with the truck from behind. There were 7 people in the car, out of which 5 died on the spot. Two people were injured in the accident, who have been sent to Kailash Hospital in Jewar for treatment. The police have taken the truck into their possession. Four people who died in the accident were residents of Baramati in Pune, Maharashtra, while a woman was a resident of Belgaum in Karnataka. Chandra Kant Narayan Burade 68, Swarna Chandrakant Burade 59 (Female), Malan Vishwanath Kumbhar 68 (Female), Ranjana Bharat Pawar 60 (Female), Nuwanjan Mujawar 53 (Female) died in the accident. In this Nuvanjan Hirekudi was a resident of Belgaum Karnataka.

At the same time, the people injured in the accident include Narayan Ramchandra Kolekar 40, resident of Satara in Maharashtra and Sunita Raju Guste, a resident of Belgaum, Karnataka. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has condoled the death of 5 people in a road accident. He also expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased. The CM has directed the officials to provide proper treatment to the people injured in the accident.
